- Highest Education: PhD and ThM, Theology, Westminster Theological Seminary; MDiv, Hong Kong Baptist Theological Seminary. Senior Pastor in US for ten years. For over two decades he has taught theology in master and doctoral programs at North American Chinese Evangelical Seminary, Hong Kong Evangelical Seminary, and Bethel Theological Seminary. Currently serves as Academic Dean and Professor of Systematic Theology at Overseas Theological Seminary (OTS in USA).
- Research Interests: The Theology of Calvin, the Theology of Luther, the Theology of Augustin, Postmodernism's Challenge to Faith, the Holy Spirit and the Revival of the Chinese Church, Homosexuality.
He enjoys cycling, contemplating ethical and theological issues, values family, and is dedicated to writing the series of Experiential God: Christian Theology, as well as eager to equip believers with knowledge, “enthusiasm,” and “takeoff power.”

Regarding the series, most Chinese works on systematic theology take a biblical study approach, rarely from a historical and theological approach. Dr. Fong uses the latter approach as the primary direction in writing this series of systematic theological books.
The distinctive feature of this series is its exploration of the biblical foundations of each doctrine, followed by a comparison of various schools of thought, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, and attempting to analyze and integrate the content, proposing relevant practical applications where appropriate. Each chapter includes a summary and group discussion to help readers better grasp the content.
