Pastor/Doctor Chen Jinyou

• Highest Education: Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Old Testament from Trinity Theological Seminary in Chicago.

Pastor Chen Jinyou was born and raised in Hong Kong. He became a Christian while in university, received his calling during his university years, and after graduation, entered seminary for training. He received his Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Old Testament from Trinity Theological Seminary in Chicago. He has pastored in the Chinese church in Chicago for nearly 30 years.

Dr. Chen was formerly an Associate Professor of Old Testament at the North American Chinese Theological Seminary and has been a visiting lecturer at several Chinese theological seminaries in Hong Kong and the United States since 2018.

Research Interests: Primarily the Old Testament, hermeneutics, and the relationship between the two Testaments.
