Calvin Chu

About me

Rev. Calvin Chu was graduated at the Hong Kong Evangel Seminary and then served as a pastor for 4 years. In 1982, he went to Northern Thailand with the China Evangelistic Mission (CEM), working among the Chinese Refugee Villages, the Thai and the tribal. He then studied at the Fuller Theological Seminary in USA and earned the Doctor of Missiology degree in 1993. He is now the General Director of CEM which has about 50 missionaries serving in Thailand, Myanmar, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, South Africa & Lesotho, Germany, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Panama, Kyrgyzstan, Sri Lanka and the CAN areas. He is adjunct professor of the several seminaries in USA and Hong Kong.. He is author of numerous books and articles, including recent works: A Mustard Seed in His Field, A Heart for World Missions and Grandma Says No. and Missions Mythbusters.
